1Channel ("we", "us", or "our") operates the VisiMax mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, and employee/role details provided by your organization.
Location Data: GPS coordinates collected during store check-ins to verify visit locations. Location is only accessed when you actively check in.
Camera and Photos: Images captured during recce submissions, execution reports, and attendance selfies. Photos are uploaded to secure cloud storage.
Device Information: Device type, operating system, push notification tokens for delivering approval alerts.
Usage Data: App activity such as tickets created, approvals processed, and attendance records for operational reporting.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the App's functionality
- To manage your account and authenticate access
- To send push notifications for ticket approvals, rejections, and new approval requests
- To verify store visit locations via GPS check-in
- To generate operational reports and dashboards for your organization
- To improve the App and fix issues
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Your data is shared only with:
- Your Organization: Managers and admins within your organization can view tickets, attendance, and reports as part of normal operations.
- Service Providers: Cloud hosting (Supabase, Vercel) and push notification services (Expo) that help us operate the App.
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on secure cloud servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures including access controls, secure API authentication, and encrypted data transmission.
5. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. When your account is deactivated by your organization, your personal data will be deleted or anonymized within 90 days.
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your data (subject to organizational policies)
- Opt out of push notifications via device settings
7. Permissions
The App requests the following permissions, each used only for its stated purpose:
- Camera: Capturing photos for recce, execution, and attendance
- Location: Store check-in verification
- Storage: Saving and uploading images
- Notifications: Approval alerts and status updates
8. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for use by authorized employees of subscribing organizations. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes through the App or via email.
